A predatory bird hunts for food and primarily uses its talons. This group of birds includes eagles, falcons, hawks, vultures and owls. These birds have sharp curved claws (talons), hook-tipped beaks and have excellent vision. Birds of prey are of the order Falconiformes and are also called raptors.
